Seven Trees, Seven Memories

Ground Pros has been a longtime Fiore Nursery customer, so when their team recently completed a particularly meaningful tree installation, they were kind enough to share the story with us.

Fiore Nursery, part of the Heritage Landscape Supply Group family, supplied the seven trees for a project at a senior living community. Each tree was planted in memory of a resident who had passed away, creating a lasting way for the community to honor and remember them.

As the trees were planted, residents gathered around the installation. Families brought the ashes of their loved ones and placed them in the planting holes before the trees went into the ground. There were tears, smiles and plenty of emotion as the residents watched the trees take their places.

The result was more than a landscape improvement. These seven trees will continue to grow at the community, creating living memorials that residents can enjoy while keeping the memories of their loved ones close.

We’re proud to have supplied the trees for a project with such personal meaning. Trees can transform a landscape, but they can also become part of the history and memories of a place. These seven trees will do both.
